Gandhi Gurlz (1 min., 58 sec.

Shot in one take, two teen girls interact with a life-size bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi next to the controversial Canadian Human Rights Museum, which is under-construction, in Winnipeg, Canada. A dance of the live, active youths with the motionless likeness of a venerated icon juxtaposes notions of the ‘present and the past’, and the ‘worldly and the ideal’.
